• This variation includes the Charleston, similar to American Mah Jongg, with three passes: Right, Across, and Left, along with an optional blind pass.
• It features 144 tiles with no jokers, ensuring tighter and more strategic gameplay.
• Flowers are used only for scoring, not for forming combinations.
• Emphasizes concealed hands, rewarding subtle, skillful play.
• The ruleset is stable, often consistent for 6–10 years, allowing players to refine strategies without frequent changes.

• Scoring Adjustments: Fixed issues with incorrect scoring for hands such as:
• #16 Chow Pungs Concealed
• #18 King Kong
• #50 Double Fix
• #83 Fix
• #79, #78, and #70
• Private Game Improvements:
• The Auto-Player will no longer declare Kongs or Pungs for you in private games.
• Fixed the Play Again feature for private games to ensure smoother restarts.

If you don’t have the official game book yet, but you’re familiar with other Mah Jongg styles like Hong Kong, Taiwanese, MCR, or Riichi, here are some hands you can aim for:

For Concealed Hands:

• #16 Chow Pungs Concealed: Combine chows and pungs, only chows, or only pungs, but keep the hand concealed. Complete the hand by drawing the last tile from the wall.
• #15 Sequence 1-9 and Two Pungs and a Pair: A concealed hand with a sequence of 1-9, two pungs, and a pair between numbers 2-8. Melded chows are not allowed.
• #68 Concealed Pungs: Aim for four concealed pungs of any tiles. No Kongs or self-Kongs allowed.
